‘Spider 3D’ Casting News

Shocktillyoudrop.com just broke the news that the upcoming throwback monster movie Spider 3D will likely feature the acting prowess of Christa Campbell (Day of the Dead). A mere rumor at this point, the news seems very possible, as the film is said to begin shooting next month (though it was previously announced that filming would begin on the 11th of this month, which sure doesn’t look to be the case) in Bulgaria. If there’s no cast attached to the project at this point, there’s virtually no chance the film begins shooting so soon.

Confirmed crew members attached to the film at this point are co-writers Joseph Farrugia, and Tibor Takács who will also direct the picture for Nu Image.

According to Nuimage.net the story focuses on “A new species of poisonous spider is discovered in the caves of Afghanistan and inadvertently makes its way to New York City where it mutates to gigantic proportions and wreaks havoc on the entire city”. Let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best, this one sounds so cheesy it’s bound to be incredible!
