In this intense new teaser for Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2, we get a glimpse of some pretty terrifying goings on. Laid to Rest rocked pretty hard the first time around, so we shall see if Robert Hall can really shake things up with the sequel. You can check out the teaser right here and feel free to let us know what you think.
To your average moviegoer, the name ChromeSkull may not sound familiar. Yet to horror fans, he is one of the most terrifying movie madmen in recent years. Laid to Rest featured the slick-suited killer with a “ChromeSkull” silver mask on his face and a video camera attached to his side shoulder. And when this guy wants to play, he plays brutal, fast and bloody.
With Laid to Rest, writer/director Robert Hall brought to life a frightening straight to DVD horror feature that created a whole lot of excitement for genre fans. His movie monster is a clever killer that has an insatiable fetish for blood and gore. The kills were gruesome, especially when one of the poor saps gets the sharp end of the knife through his cheeks; after-wards ChromeSkull proceeds to slice off his face. This is a bloody flick folks.
Last year horror fans were treated to a new, potentially iconic face (excuse me, mask) of horror when ChromeSkull took to the screen disposing of reckless youth in Robert Hall’s impressively gory Laid To Rest. The film hones in on the technologically inclined serial killer known for donning a shiny chrome skull mask and shoulder holstered video camera to capture his slayings. It’s not the most original concept, but aspects of the movie are executed extremely well, particularly the gruesome death scenes.
