IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to speak with Michael B. Jordan at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival about his possible involvement in The Fantastic Four and Creed. The acclaimed actor would neither confirm or deny that he will play the Human Torch in The Fantastic Four but said that "one way or another we'll find out soon." He also talked about his recent appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman and the talk show host's attempt at getting the actor to talk about The Fantastic Four, as well as Creed, his excitement to re-team with Ryan Coogler and work with Sylvester Stallone, not having a chance to read the script yet, and if Apollo Creed's son will appear in the movie.

IAR: Is it official? Are you going to play Johnny Storm in The Fantastic Four? Can you talk about that yet?
Michael B. Jordan: I really can't. Dave (Letterman) tried. I just can't. One way or another you'll find out pretty soon.
Are you excited to do Creed?
Jordan: I am. I'm really excited about that. Teaming up with Ryan (Coogler) again, and working with Sylvester Stallone, and everybody over at MGM. I'm really excited about doing that.
Since you will be playing Apollo Creed's grandson, will there be an actor cast to play Apollo's son, your father?
Jordan: I'm not sure yet. I haven't read the script yet completely.
