Opening in theaters on February 21st is the new historical disaster film Pompeii from director Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil: Retribution). IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Emily Browning to talk about her work on Pompeii. The popular young actress discussed her new movie, researching the historical period it is based on, how that helped her prepare for her role, collaborating with director Paul W.S. Anderson, what she is looking for from a director when on set, changes she made to her dialogue and costume, working with the great Kiefer Sutherland, his villainous character, what she is looking for when choosing projects, and why she wanted to be a part of this film.
