Currently available OnDemand and opening in theaters on March 21st is part one of the two-part Danish drama Nymphomaniac: Vol. I. Nymphomaniac: Vol. II will be available OnDemand March 20th and in theaters April 4th. The film series was written and directed by legendary filmmaker Lars von Trier (Melancholia), and features an all-star cast that includes Charlotte Gainsbourg (21 Grams), Stellan Skarsgard (The Avengers), Shia LaBeouf (Lawless), Christian Slater (True Romance), Uma Thurman (Kill Bill Vol. I & II), Connie Nielsen (3 Days to Kill), Jamie Bell (Jumper), and Willem Dafoe (Out of the Furnace).

IAR's New York Correspondent Justine Browning recently had a chance to sit down with Stellan Skarsgard and Charlotte Gainsbourg to talk about their work on Nymphomaniac: Vol. I & II. The veteran actors discussed their new movies, the film's risqué subject material, working with Lars von Trier, and putting trust in their director.

Nymphomaniac: Vol. I follows a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac (Gainsbourg) as she recounts her erotic experiences to the man (Skarsgard) who saved her after a beating.

Nymphomaniac: Vol. II is the continuation of Joe's (Gainsbourg) sexually dictated life. The film delves into the darker aspects of her adult life and what led to her being in Seligman's (Skarsgard) care.

Nymphomaniac: Vol. I is currently available OnDemand and opens in theaters on March 21st.

Nymphomaniac: Vol. II will be available OnDemand March 20th and in theaters April 4th.
