Opening in theaters on March 21st is the highly anticipated science fiction action film Divergent, which is based on the popular series of novels by Veronica Roth. The movie was directed by Neil Burger (Limitless), and stars Shailene Woodly (The Descendants), Theo James (Underworld: Awakening), Zoe Kravitz (X-Men: First Class), Ansel Elgort (Carrie), Maggie Q (Priest), Mekhi Phifer (Dawn of the Dead), Jai Courtney (A Good Day to Die Hard), Miles Teller (That Awkward Moment), Ray Stevenson (Thor: The Dark World), Tony Goldwyn (TV's Scandal), Ashley Judd (Olympus Has Fallen), and Kate Winslet (Contagion).
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently attended the Divergent Los Angeles press conference, along with other members of the press, and talked to Shailene Woodly, Theo James, and Tony Goldwyn about their work on Divergent. All three actors discussed their new movie, while James talked about working with director Neil Burger, Woodly discussed acting with Ashley Judd and Kate Winslet, and Goldwyn talked about reuniting with Judd after Kiss the Girls and playing her husband rather than a serial killer trying to torture her.
