Opening in theaters on April 4th is the new "found footage" vampire horror film Afflicted from co-directors Derek Lee and Clif Prowse (Snakehead). Lee and Prowse also co-wrote the film and star as themselves.

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to sit down with Derek Lee and Clif Prowse to talk about their work on Afflicted. The two filmmakers discussed their new movie, reinventing the vampire genre, shooting found footage-style, the story problems that created, playing themselves, directing together, and editing all the footage they shot into a coherent film.

NOTE: This interview was shot on GoPro cameras similar to the ones used in the film.
