EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Tilda Swinton Talks 'Only Lovers Left Alive'

Opening in theaters on April 11th is the new vampire film Only Lovers Left Alive from acclaimed filmmaker Jim Jarmusch (Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, Dead Man). The new movie stars Academy Award-winner Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Tom Hiddleston (Thor), Anton Yelchin (Star Trek Into Darkness), Mia Wasikowska (Stoker), Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), and John Hurt (Immortals). 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Tilda Swinton to talk about her work on Only Lovers Left Alive. The Oscar-winner discussed her new film, working with writer/director Jim Jarmusch, his creative process, the fatigue of vampire films, why this movie is different, music, Tom Hiddleston, and her character's unique hairdo.

SYNOPSIS:

A depressed musician (Hiddleston) reunites with his lover (Swinton), though their romance - which has already endured several centuries - is disrupted by the arrival of her uncontrollable younger sister (Wasikowska).

Only Lovers Left Alive opens in theaters on April 11th.
