EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Ashley Rickards Talks 'A Haunted House 2'

Opening in theaters on April 18th is the new horror comedy A Haunted House 2, which is a sequel to '2013s A Haunted House. The film is once again directed by Michael Tiddes, and written by Marlon Wayans and Rick Alvarez. In addition to Wayans (The Heat), the movie also features returning cast members Essence Atkins (My Sister's Wedding), Affion Crockett (This Means War), and Cedric the Entertainer (Larry Crowne), as well as new cast members Jaime Pressly (I Love You, Man)Ashley Rickards (Struck by Lightning), Gabriel Iglesias (The Nut Job), Missi Pyle (The Artist), and newcomer Steele Stebbins

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Ashley Rickards to talk about her work on A Haunted House 2. The talented young actress discussed her new film, Philbrick's injury which caused him to take painkillers, the "princess wave," adjusting her technique to appear in a spoof film, making fun of "found footage" movies, "check it out, man," The Conjuring, improvising with Marlon Wayans, and trying not to laugh on set.

Having exorcised the demons of his ex (Atkins), Malcolm (Wayans) is starting fresh with his new girlfriend (Pressly) and her two children (Rickards and Stebbins). After moving into their dream home, however, Malcolm is once again plagued by bizarre paranormal events.

A Haunted House 2 opens in theaters on April 18th.
