Opening in theaters on May 9th is the new drama from actor turned director John Slattery (Iron Man 2) called God's Pocket. The film stars Philip Seymour Hoffman (The Ides of March), Christina Handricks (Drive), John Turturro (Fading Gigolo), Richard Jenkins (The Cabin in the Woods), Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men: First Class), and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows).
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with John Slattery and Christina Hendricks to talk about their work on God's Pocket. The two Mad Men alumni discussed their new film, working with each other, directing, Hendricks' character, and the late great Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

When Mickey's (Hoffman) crazy stepson Leon (Jones) is killed in a construction 'accident', nobody in the working class neighborhood of God's Pocket is sorry he's gone. Mickey tries to bury the bad news with the body, but when the boy's mother (Hendricks) demands the truth, Mickey finds himself stuck in a life and death struggle between a body he can't bury, a wife he can't please and a debt he can't pay.
God's Pocket opens in theaters on May 9th.
