Opening in theaters on July 2nd is the new horror crime thriller Deliver Us from Evil, which is loosely based on the book Beware the Night by NY police officer Ralph Sarchie. The movie was directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister), produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (The Lone Ranger), and stars Eric Bana (Star Trek) as Sarchie, Edgar Ramirez (Point Break), Joel McHale (Ted), Sean Harris (Prometheus), and Olivia Munn (Freeloaders).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Eric Bana to talk about his work on Deliver Us from Evil. The popular actor discussed his new movie, why he didn't want to make it with a first time director, balancing the film's different genres, meeting the real Ralph Sarchie, his character's relationship with Edgar Ramirez's Mendoza, protecting his family, reuniting with producer Jerry Bruckheimer, what he looks for when choosing projects, and his love for Face/Off
