Opening in Los Angeles and New York theaters on July 25th is the new comedy from Academy Award-winning writer and director Woody Allen (Blue Jasmine). The film features an all-star cast that includes Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Man), Academy Award-winners Colin Firth (Arthur Newman) and Marcia Gay Harden (Miller's Crossing), Academy Award-nominee Jacki Weaver (Haunt), and Hamish Linklater (42).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Hamish Linklater to talk about his work on Magic in the Moonlight. The accomplished actor discussed his new film, his mother (legendary acting teacher Kristin Linklater), how she made Philbrick cry when he was her student at Emerson College, why she was happy her son was making a movie with Woody Allen, what Allen is really like as a director, Linklater's impersonation of the iconic filmmaker, working with Emma Stone, and learning to play the ukulele for the movie.
