Available on Blu-ray and DVD beginning July 22nd is the new thriller Blue Ruin from writer/director Jeremy Saulnier (Murder Party). The film stars Macon Blair (Hellbenders), Devin Ratray (Home Alone), Amy Hargreaves (Shame), Kevin Kolack (The Family), David W. Thompson (Win Win), and Eve Plumb (TV's The Brady Bunch). 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Eve Plumb to talk about her work on Blue Ruin, as well as life after The Brady Bunch. The TV icon discussed her new movie, what drew her to the script, carrying a gun, having fun on the set, working with Jeremy Saulnier, what she looks for from a director on set, why she didn't develop her character's backstory, how her recent stage work has improved her acting, how show business has changed, finding good roles after The Brady Bunch, and being remembered for playing Jan Brady.

SYNOPSIS:

A mysterious outsider's quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home to carry out an act of vengeance. Proving himself an amateur assassin, he winds up in a brutal fight to protect his estranged family.
