Opening in theaters on September 12th is the new home invasion thriller No Good Deed, which was directed by Sam Miller (TV's MI:5). The film stars Golden Globe-winner Idris Elba (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, BBC One's Luther), Academy Award-nominee Taraji P. Henson (Larry Crowne), Henry Simmons (TV's NYPD Blue), and Leslie Bibb (Iron Man).

IAR's managing editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Idris Elba to talk about his work on No Good Deed. as well as the future of his hit BBC One series Luther. The Golden Globe-winner discussed his new film, his casual attire, why this role was a stretch for him, playing a villain, and finding time to make the movie between Pacific Rim and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, as well as announcing plans for a two-episode series 4 of Luther followed by the long awaited Luther feature film, and if he considers DCI John Luther to be his signature character.

If you don't have time to watch our exclusive video interview, you can read what Iris Elba had to say about Luther series 4 and the Luther movie below:

IAR: Are there any plans for a Luther series 4 or a Luther feature film?

Idris Elba: We're very close. I shouldn't say this out loud but we're very close to announcing a two-hour special of Luther, which is essentially a the forth season. But it's a very specific two-hours and the idea is to go towards the movie. That's where I'm heading and this next two-hours is going to do that and lead into what will hopefully be the film.

Terri (Henson) is a devoted wife and mother of two, living an ideal suburban life in Atlanta when Colin (Elba), a charming but dangerous escaped convict, shows up at her door claiming car trouble. Terri offers her phone to help him but soon learns that no good deed goes unpunished as she finds herself fighting for survival when he invades her home and terrorizes her family.

No Good Deed opens in theaters on September 12th.
