Opening in theaters on September 19th is the new horror comedy from fan favorite writer and director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Red State) called Tusk. The film features an all-star cast that includes Justin Long (Comet), Academy Award-nominee Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Genesis Rodriguez (Identity Thief), Ralph Garman (A Million Ways to Die in the West), and Ashley Greene (The Apparition), as well as veteran actor Michael Parks (Django Unchained), and Academy Award-nominee Johnny Depp (The Lone Ranger).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the always outspoken Kevin Smith to talk about his work on Tusk. The accomplished filmmaker discussed his new movie, being surprised by its positive reviews, why the film made Philbrick physically vomit, if that is the reaction Smith was looking for from his audience, directing Johnny Depp, how the movie star made the project better, and working with the rest of the film's excellent cast.
