Check out iamROGUE.com's Editor-in-Chief JimmyO in his Exclusive Interview with Kick Ass star Aaron Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood as they talk about their latest John Lennon biopic, Nowhere Boy!
Nowhere Boy is more than just a John Lennon biopic; it is an endearing coming-of-age drama that happens to be about an icon. Director Sam Taylor-Wood handled the subject in a beautiful way, focusing on the relationship between young John, his Aunt Mimi (Kristin Scott Thomas) who helped raise him, and his free-spirited mother (Anne-Marie Duff). This is a sweet and satisfying film that pays tribute to Lennon and his legacy.
Recently, while promoting the film, both Sam and the film’s star Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) took a little time to talk to iamROGUE about their film. They both spoke about Lennon and of course, the music that he left us with. Mr. Johnson even talked a bit about what is happening in regards to Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.
Nowhere Boy opens in limited release this coming Friday. Search it out, the music is great and so is the film… you can read our review here!
