Opening in theaters on September 26th is the new animated movie The Boxtrolls, which was based on the children's novel Here Be Monsters by author Alan Snow. The film was directed by Graham Annable (ParaNorman) and Anthony Stacchi (Open Season), and stars Academy Award-winner Sir Ben Kingsley (Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King), Elle Fanning (Maleficent), Isaac Hempstead Wright (HBO's Game of Thrones), Jared Harris (The Quiet Ones), Nick Frost (Attack the Block), Richard Ayoade (The Watch), and Tracy Morgan (Rio 2).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute honor of sitting down with Sir Ben Kingsley to talk about his work on The Boxtrolls. The Oscar-winner discussed his new movie, if he had to change his acting approach for the animated movie, the freedom of voice over work, creating his character's voice, who he modeled it after, and his character's obsession with cheese and power.
