(5 votes) Editor-in-Chief JimmyO and his Exclusive Interview with the cast and director of Tamara Drewe!

Stephen Frears is one of the most versatile and interesting directors working today. His resume includes such classic films as The Grifters, Dangerous Liasons, The Queen and High Fidelity. Very few filmmakers in Hollywood offer the diversity that Mr. Frears does.

His latest feature, Tamara Drewe, is based on a graphic novel written by Posy Simmonds, and it is a charming little comedy. Much of that charm is courtesy of the lovely and talented Gemma Arterton who plays the title character.

While waiting in the hallway to interview the lovely Ms. Arterton, something wonderful happened. I realized she is even more beautiful in person, and utterly delightful. It is no surprise that her career is taking off lately. spent some time with Gemma, Stephen and Dominic Cooper and Luke Evans who also star in the film. They spoke about “Tamara”, Posy and more.

Tamara Drewe opens this Friday in limited release. She is worth seeking out!
