EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Jonny Weston and Sofia Black-D'Elia Talk 'Project Almanac'

Opening in theaters on January 30th is the new found footage time travel film Project Almanac, which was helmed by first time director Dean Israelite. The movie stars Jonny Weston (John Dies at the End), Sofia Black-D'Elia (The Immigrant), Sam Lerner (Nobody Walks), Allen Evangelista (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), and Virginia Gardner (TV's The Goldbergs). 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Jonny Weston and Sofia Black-D'Elia to talk about their work on Project Almanac. The two talented young actors discussed their new film, their favorite time travel movies, the importance of using the found footage technique, and the themes of the film.

SYNOPSIS:

A group of teens discover secret plans of a time machine, and construct one. However, things start to get out of control.

Project Almanac opens in theaters on January 30th.
