EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Oscar Isaac Talks 'Ex Machina'

Opening in theaters on April 10th is the new science fiction film Ex Machina, which was written and directed by Alex Garland (Dredd). The movie stars Oscar Isaac (Drive, Inside Llewyn Davis, A Most Violent Year), Domhnall Gleeson (About Time), and Alicia Vikander (Seventh Son). 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the great Oscar Isaac to talk about his work on Ex Machina. The acclaimed actor discussed his new movie, choosing projects, working with Alex Garland, creating the look of his character, how director Stanley Kubrick and chess grandmaster Bobby Fischer influenced his performance, and the cat and mouse game between his character and Domhnall Gleeson's character.

SYNOPSIS:

A young programmer (Gleeson) is selected to participate in a breakthrough experiment in artificial intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a breathtaking female A.I. (Vikander). 

Ex Machina opens in theaters on April 10th.
