"It really just came down to me screaming and a lot of blood," laughs Linkin Park and Dead By Sunrise mainman Chester Bennington in regards to his role in the highly anticipated Saw 3D.

Linkin Park's Bennington is quite the modern renaissance man. Not only was he an integral part on the rock album of the year, Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns, but he's scorching up the screen in a particularly twisted sequence in Saw 3D. In fact, Bennington's on stage intensity palpably comes across on screen, and he's just at home in front of the camera in this crazy Saw scene as he is in the vocal booth. One of the coolest things about Bennington's performance is he's a major fan of the series.

He goes on to say, "The first Saw film was the greatest horror film of all time!"

Bennington contributes to that dark legacy perfectly!

Linkin Park and Dead By Sunrise singer Chester Bennington sat down with ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino for an exclusive interview about his role in Saw 3D, why he lives the series and so much more.

Check out the video below! Be sure to catch Saw 3D in theaters this Friday October 29th and pick up Linkin Park's new masterpiece, A Thousand Suns, in stores now!
