Opening in theaters on June 1st is a new marijuana comedy from writer/director John Stalberg called High School. The film features an excellent cast of young and veteran actors including Matt Bush (Margaret), Sean Marquette (13 Going on 30), Colin Hanks (King Kong), Andrew Wilson (Whip It!), Mykelti Williamson (Forrest Gump), Emmy-winner Michael Chiklis (TV's The Shield, Fantastic Four), and Oscar-winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist, Predators).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to sit down with director John Stalberg to discuss his work on High School. The director talked about his new film, the stigma attached to making a pot movie, other high school comedies that inspired the film, the authenticity that Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Emmy-winner Michael Chikliss bring to the project, the incredible supporting cast, Cameron Crowe, casting the pivotal roles of Henry and Travis, Bush and Marquette's on-screen chemistry, eye twitching, and Psycho Ed's untold backstory.
