Currently on VOD and opening in theaters on July 6th is the long awaited new movie from filmmaking brothers Mark and Jay Duplass (Jeff, Who Lives at Home) called The Do-Deca-Pentathlon. The film stars several actors that have worked with the directors before including Steve Zissis (Cyrus), and Jennifer Lafleur (Baghead), as well as newcomer to the ensemble Mark Kelly (Answers to Nothing).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had an opportunity to sit down and chat with prolific filmmakers Mark and Jay Duplass to talk about The Do-Deca-Pentathlon, as well as a few of their other upcoming projects. The directors discussed their new movie, the fact that they shot it before making Cyrus and Jeff, revisiting it now, the real-life brothers that the film is based on, how much of their own brother relationship made it into the movie, rejecting the term "Mumblecore," how Do-Deca does fits into a trilogy of their films, writing a screenplay for Todd Philips, rebooting Same Time, Next Year, The League Season Four, the next film they will direct together, and how Mark keeps track of all of his various projects (Your Sister's Sister, People Like Us).
