Opening in theaters on August 3rd is the highly anticipated new film Total Recall, which is a remake of the beloved Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that was loosley based on the story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" by author Phillip K. Dick. The new film was directed by Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard) and closer resembles the original source material rather than the now classic '90s movie. Total Recall stars Colin Farrell (Fright Night) as Quaid/Hauser, Kate Beckinsale (Underworld: Awakening) as his wife Lori, and Jessica Biel (The A-Team) as Melina, as well as Bokeem Woodbine (The Rock), Bill Nighy (Arthur Christmas), John Cho (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas), and Bryan Cranston (Drive) as Cohaagen.
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to sit down with Kate Beckinsale to talk about her work on Total Recall. The stunning actress discussed her new film, playing a villain, taking on the iconic sci-fi role, Lori's true relationship with Quaid, the film's new direction, working with husband/director Len Wiseman, fighting Jessica Biel and her fear of giving the actress a black-eye.
