Opening in theaters on September 14th is Resident Evil: Retribution, which is the fifth installment of the Resident Evil film series and is based on the popular video game of the same name. The new movie is once again written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and features an all-star cast of actors from the entire franchise including Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil series), Sienna Guillory (Resident Evil: Apocalypse), Michelle Rodriguez (Resident Evil), Oded Fehr (Resident Evil: Extinction), Boris Kodjoe (Resident Evil: Afterlife), Colin Salmon (Resident Evil), and Shawn Roberts (Resident Evil: Afterlife), as well as new comers Aryana Engineer (Orphan), Johann Urb (2012), Kevin Durand (Real Steal), and Li Bingbing (1911).
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the opportunity to sit down with Milla Jovovich to talk about her work on Resident Evil: Retribution. The popular actress discussed the new film, returning for a fifth installment, showing a different side of Alice, what was most challenging about the role, how proud she is of the franchise that she has created with her husband director Paul W. S. Anderson, reuniting with the returning actors from the other films, learning sign language, and the possibility of doing a sixth installment of the franchise.

The Umbrella Corporation's T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into flesh-eating undead.
