EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Peter Weller Talks 'Star Trek Into Darkness,' 'RoboCop' Remake and Directing 'Sons of Anarchy'

Scheduled for release on May 17th, 2013 is the highly anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness, a follow up to director J.J. Abrams (Super 8) extremely successful 2009 reboot of the beloved science fiction franchise.

Scheduled for release on August 9th, 2013 is the highly anticipated remake of the classic '80s film RoboCop, which stared Peter Weller and will now feature Joel Kinnaman (Easy Money) in the title role. 

Currently airing its fifth season on FX is the extremely popular motorcycle-gang series Sons of Anarchy, which stars Ron Perlman and Katey Sagal

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to speak with veteran actor Peter Weller on the red carpet for his new film Batman: The Dark Knight Returns-Part 1, which will be available on Blu-ray and DVD beginning September 25th. In addition to discussing playing the caped crusader (which will run in a separate article), Weller took the time to talk about his mysterious new role in Star Trek Into Darkness, working with director J.J. Abrams, how he feels about the remake of RoboCop, the legacy of the original film, and returning to direct several episodes Sons of Anarchy this season.

Star Trek Into Darkness is currently in post-production and scheduled for release on May 17, 2013.
