EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Emily Blunt Talks 'Looper'

Opening in theaters on on September 28th is the new sic-fi thriller from director Rian Johnson (Brick) called Looper. The film stars a terrific cast that includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises), Bruce Willis (Die Hard), Emily Blunt (Your Sister's Sister), Paul Dano (Being Flynn), Piper Perabo (USA's Covert Affairs), and Jeff Daniels (HBO's The Newsroom).

On behalf of IAR, Moviefanatic's Managing Editor Joel Amos traveled to the Toronto International Film Festival to speak with Emily Blunt about her work on Looper. The talented British actress discussed the new movie, director Rian Johnson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's on-set relationship; comparisons to Scorsese and De Niro, working with the child actor who plays her son, reading the unusual script for the first time, and what she looks for when choosing projects.

SYNOPSIS:

In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun called a "Looper" awaits. One day, a "Looper" named Joe (Gordon-Levitt) learns that the mob wants to "close his loop" by transporting back Joe's future self (Willis) and have the younger version kill him. 

Looper opens in theaters on September 25th.
