Opening in theaters on February 15th is the new 3D computer animated family film Escape from Planet Earth, which was directed by storyboard artist Cal Brunker (Despicable Me). The movie features an amazing cast of voice actors including Rob Corddry (Warm Bodies), Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City: The Movie), Brendan Fraser (Stand Off), Jessica Alba (Sin City), Jonathan Morgan Heit (Date Night), William Shatner (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine), Sofia Vergara (The Three Stooges), Jane Lynch (Wreck-It Ralph), George Lopez (Rio), and Ricky Gervais (TV's An Idiot Abroad). 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the immense pleasure of sitting down with legendary film and television actor William Shatner for an extensive interview to talk about his work on Escape from Planet Earth, as well as his unique musical career, and the possibility of a T.J. Hooker movie based on his classic TV series of the same name. SYNOPSIS: 

Astronaut Scorch Supernova (Fraser) finds himself caught in a trap when he responds to an SOS from a notoriously dangerous alien planet called Earth.

Escape from Planet Earth invades theaters on February 15th.
