Opening in theaters on March 15th is the romantic fantasy from writer/director Juan Diego Solanas (Northeast) called Upside Down. The film stars Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas), Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia), and Timothy Spall (The King's Speech).
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently has a chance to sit down with writer/director Juan Diego Solanas to talk about his work on Upside Down. The Argentine filmmaker discussed his new film, how he got the idea for the story from a vision he had, developing the movie's three rules of gravity concept, shooting the project on two different film stocks, and casting actors Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst.
