EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Kristin Chenoweth and Olesya Rulin Talk 'Family Weekend'

Opening in theaters and VOD on March 29th is the new comedy/drama Family Weekend from director Benjamin Epps. The film features an excellent cast that includes Kristin Chenoweth (Hit and Run), Matthew Modine (The Dark Knight Rises), Olesya Rulin (High School Musical), Joey King (Oz the Great and Powerful), and Academy Award-winner Shirley Jones (Elmer Gantry). 

IAR's New York Correspondent Dana Gardner recently had a chance to sit down with Kristin Chenoweth and Olesya Rulin to talk about their work on Family Weekend. Rulin discussed her recent birthday, playing a younger character, and training for her jump-roping scenes, Chenoweth talked about creating her complex character, and her respect for her co-star, while both actresses discussed their passions outside of acting.

SYNOPSIS:

A 16-year-old girl (Rulin) takes her parents (Chenoweth and Modine) hostage after they miss her big jump-roping competition.

Family Weekend opens in theaters and on VOD beginning March 29th.
