Opening in theaters on April 26th is the new wedding comedy The Big Wedding from writer and director Justin Zackham (The Bucket List). The film truly stars an all-star cast that includes Academy Award-winners Robert De Niro (Freelancers), Diane Keaton (Darling Companion), Susan Sarandon (Cloud Atlas), and Robin Williams (Good Will Hunting), as well as Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up), Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables), Topher Grace (The Double), and Ben Barnes (Killing Bono).
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to sit down with writer/director Justin Zackham to talk about his work on The Big Wedding. The popular filmmaker discussed his new movie, the French film that inspired it, working with the impressive cast, Diane Keaton and Robert De Niro's process, his favorite scene in the movie, if Katherine Heigl or Robin Williams were concerned about appearing in yet another wedding film after making 27 Dresses and License to Wed, respectively, and watching Williams impressive improvisational skills on set.
