IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Keanu Reeves, as well as director/writer Mark Mann to talk about their work on Generation Um.... The veteran actor discussed why this character is similar to some of his past roles, how it fits into his "Slacker Cannon," his intense preparation for all his films, specifically what he did to prepare for this movie, actually operating a camera for many of the film's scenes, and why he calls the project "Apocalyptic Art with Hope," while the filmmaker explained the meaning of the film's unique title, and why New York City itself plays such an important role in the movie.
