Opening in theaters on May 17th is the new comedic drama The English Teacher from first time feature film director Craig Zisk (TV's Weeds). The movie stars an excellent cast that includes Academy Award-nominee Julianne Moore (The Big Lebowski), Michael Angarano (The Brass Teapot), Lily Collins (Mirror Mirror), Nathan Lane (The Producers), and Academy Award-nominee Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine).

IAR's New York Correspondent Dana Gardner recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Julianne Moore and Michael Angarano to talk about their work on The English Teacher. The Oscar-nominated actress and young actor discussed their new film, working with first time feature film director Craig Zisk, their three favorite writers, the teacher that inspired Moore to become an actress, and why Angarano was thrilled to work with co-stars Moore and Nathan Lane

SYNOPSIS:

An English teacher's (Moore) life is disrupted when a former student (Angarano) returns to her small town after failing as a playwright in New York. 

The English Teacher opens in theaters on May 17th.
