Available On Demand July 2nd and in theaters on August 2nd is the Australian surf film Drift from directors Morgan O'Neill (The Factory) and Ben Nott. The film stars Sam Worthington (Avatar, Texas Killing Fields), Xavier Samuel (Anonymous), Myles Pollard (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), and Lesley-Ann Brandt (Zombie Apocalypse).
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Sam Worthington to talk about his work on Drift. The popular Australian actor discussed his new movie, the joy of returning to Australian cinema, drawing inspiration for his character from his own uncle, his experience surfing, his favorite surf movies, what he looks for when choosing projects, and working with friend and director Morgan O'Neill.
