Opening in New York and Los Angeles on July 26th is the new film from Academy Award-winning director Woody Allen called Blue Jasmine. The movie features an eclectic cast of actors that includes Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey), Alec Baldwin (The Departed), Sally Hawkins (An Education), Andrew Dice Clay (The Adventures of Ford Fairlane), Bobby Cannavale (Win Win), Louis C.K. (TV's Louie), Peter Sarsgaard (Green Lantern), Michael Stuhlbarg (Hitchcock), and Alden Ehrenreich (Beautiful Creatures).

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Andrew Dice Clay to talk about his work on Blue Jasmine. The legendary stand-up comedian discussed his new film, what it means to him to appear in a Woody Allen film, his appreciation to the director for casting him in the movie, how he transformed himself for the role, working with heavyweight actors like Cate Blanchett and Peter Sarsgaard, how Alec Baldwin walked on set doing an "Andrew Dice Clay impression," the difference between comedians and actors, the success of fellow co-star/comedian/and friend - Louis C.K., and now that he is a serious dramatic actor ... if he will still be "The Diceman."
