Opening in theaters on October 4th is the new comedy from first time director Stu Zicherman called A.C.O.D. The film stars an impressive cast of actors and comedians that includes Adam Scott (Bachelorette), Richard Jenkins (Jack Reacher), Catherine O'Hara (Frankenweenie), Amy Poehler (The Secret World of Arrietty), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Smashed), Clark Duke (The Croods), Jessica Alba (Escape from Planet Earth), Ken Howard (Michael Clayton), and Jane Lynch (Afternoon Delight). 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Catherine O'Hara and Jane Lynch to talk about their work on A.C.O.D. The two veteran comedic actresses discussed their new movie, what celebrities Philbrick resembles, their impressive improvisational credentials, working with Academy Award-nominee Richard Jenkins, his hilarious work on Step Brothers, throughout their entire careers only sharing one scene together in Best of Show, working on Christopher Guest's films, Christmas parties at John Michael Higgins house, singing, and why Lynch loves playing therapists.

SYNOPSIS:

A.C.O.D. follows a seemingly well-adjusted Adult Child of Divorce (Scott) who is forced to revisit the chaos of his parents bitter divorce all over again after his younger brother (Duke) decides to get married.

A.C.O.D. opens in theaters on October 4th.
